Actress Samantha, who made her debut nine years back with Ye Maya Chesave, is having a glorious career down the South. She is currently one of the biggest stars in south India. Now, she is all set to enter politics. Don’t worry, that’s not in real life but in the reel life.
A political fantasy film titled Tughlaq Durbar is being made in Tamil by debutant director Dilli Prasad Deendayal. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is playing the lead role in this film.
Apparently, this film will be a satire of present-day politics. The makers are planning to rope in Samantha as a female lead in this movie.
Plans are being made to release the film in Telugu as well. Already, Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi are acting together in the film Super Deluxe which will release this summer. If she signs this film, this will mark their second collaboration. Meanwhile, she is busy shooting for Majili and the remake of Ms. Granny in Telugu.
Actor Bellamkonda Srinivas made his debut with the film Alludu Seenu, which released way back in 2014. In the span of five years, he acted in half a dozen films but none of them became a huge hit to make him enter the top league of actors. But still, he has been flooding with offers.
The actor recently signed three films on a trot. Many are wondering how is he managing to get so many offers despite his poor record. Industry sources claim that his father and well-known producer Bellamkonda Suresh is behind the super-pace of his son. Apparently, Bellamkonda offers some lucrative deals for all the producers who approach his son.
Right from helping the movie to get sold for decent prices, Baellamkonda takes care in each and every step to make the film end up in the safe zone, irrespective of its box office performance. He also helps the producers to get fancy deals for satellite and digital rights. Hence, all the producers are opting for Bellamkonda for their films.
