Hansika’s phone and social media hacked

The last few days have seen ‘leaked’ pictures of actress Hansika Motwani, of her sporting a bikini and seemingly on a vacation.

Gone viral on social media, three of the pictures see the actress taking selfies in lingerie and bikini; with the fourth one being clicked by someone else on a yacht. While many wondered where these pictures surfaced from and if the actress herself posted them somewhere, Hansika took to social media recently to confirm that her social media and phone have both been hacked. Also asking people not to respond to messages sent from her account, she wrote, “Phone n Twitter hacked please don’t respond to any random messages. My back end team is working on getting things in control.” (sic)

While the actress has not issued a statement about how her phone got hacked or if she will be taking any legal action against perpetrators, fans seem to have taken the news with a pinch of salt. Instead of supporting the actress in trying times, they left comments under her post like, “Do you know how much months or years of planning it would take to hack twitter??? Do you think we are fools to believe this!! As a technical person I know how much hard and how much money we need to hack twitter!! J #cheaptactics..” (sic) There are of course many fans who lent her support and left kind words too.

Hansika is the latest to fall prey to hacking after reportedly Amy Jackson and Akshara Haasan’s private pictures too were leaked recently.

Going by her tweet, her phone and Twitter account got hacked by miscreants who found private photos of hers. But, her Instagram account is intact as there were no recent posts on it.

Hansika hasn’t lodged a complaint with the cyber-crime officials to nab the culprit. Instead, she said that her team is working on getting hold of her accounts from the hackers. Though her photos on Twitter have been taken off, they are still available on Instagram.

Earlier, Amy Jackson and Akshara Haasan became victims of cybercrime and their revealing photos were leaked on social media.

On the work front, Hansika is now busy with the shooting of her 50th film Maha, which is directed by debutant UR Jameel.
