Jabalpur girl Shalini Pandey couldn’t have asked for a better debut than ‘Arjun Reddy’ which scored a phenomenal success at the box-office with big praises to director Sandeep Vanga and the lead pair. The dark-drama showcased Shalini in the author-backed role of Preeti Shetty and the theatre artist impressed right from the word go with her natural emotions and convincing acting chops. With a string of Tamil & Telugu films in the pipeline, the 25-year-old actress has just received a call from Mumbai.

Shalini will soon be making her Bollywood entry by playing the leading lady opposite debutante Aditya who is the son of popular Hindi actor Paresh Rawal. Titled ‘Bamfaad’, the film will be directed by Ranjan Chandel and presented by Anurag Kashyap. Presently in the pre-production phase, the film is touted to be an intense romantic-drama set in Allahabad and will feature actors like Vijay Verma and Jatin Sarna in pivotal roles.

Starring as the heroine in Kalyan Ram’s ‘118’ at present, Shalini is also essaying Tamannaah’s role in the Tamil remake of Sukumar’s ‘100% Love’. Besides this, she has a couple of Tamil flicks in hand. Hope Shalini would have the same luck in Bollywood as well!

Shalini Pandey has introduced through Vijay Devarakonda’s ‘Arjun Reddy’ film Tollywood. She got star dum through this film but she does not get good offers in Telugu. She is playing small roles as the second heroine roles also. ‘100% Love’ is remade in Tamil as titled as ‘100% Kadal’. Shalini has been offered a film from Bollywood.

Shalini Pandey is currently acting as a heroine in Kalyan Ram’s ‘118’ movie. Shalini Pandey has been chosen as the heroine in the film ‘Bamphad’ which is to be introduced as Paresh Rawal’s son as a hero in Bollywood. Anurag Kashyap is producing this film so the expectations are huge.
